The 7th Grade and 8th Grade Traveling teams follow the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA).
The rules for the Junior Division were created by the WYFL Board of Directors and were developed with an emphasis on the themes of fait play, instruction, safety and the enjoyment of the kids.
The rules for the Flag League were developed by Matt Amundson (Director, Whitewater City Parks & Rec) and approved by the WYFL Board emphasizing on the same attributes as the Junior Division.
